Why do schools not teach financial education? Get your financial education now

Why do schools not teach financial education? A fact I will never understand. One of the most important subjects that are never taught in school. But people spent money on tutoring, helping our children to pass exams, make the grades or learning a language. Even adults rather pay money to learn a language than to learn the basics of money and investment. Every athlete has a coach, who teaches and supervises performance as well as gives advice. There are sales coaches, health and diet teachers, motivation coaches and tutoring in any field but if it comes to money and investments, we might read a book or two and try to do all on our own.

Financial education is one of the most important life skills you can have. Without it, you do not learn about using a credit card properly or the effect interest payments have on your finances. You should be able to create a budget, learn to invest in the stock market or real estate sensible or know the effects of cash-flow and compounded returns or learn how to plan and manage your retirement. But these basic but essential life lessons simply don’t exist in our school system.

As an adult, it is essential you take matters into your own hands and learn about these topics if you ever want to get wealthy. And, if you are a parent, you will need to provide this financial education to your children because schools do not do it.
