8 items worth spending more on to improve quality of life

There is never a bad time to spend money to improve the quality of your life. Sometimes spending a bit more on quality goods will even save you more money in the end.

Here is a list of 10 items worth spending more on to improve the quality of your life:

1. High-End Mattress
You spend a third of your life sleeping. Therefore you deserve the absolute best sleep of your life.

2. Dental Care
You can’t grow back your teeth or gums so it’s best to spend more money on taking care of them. Definitely, you should swap your manual toothbrush to an electric one. Think of this as an investment. Your teeth and gum will thank you.

3. Glasses and Contacts
You only have one pair of eyes. If you wear glasses or contact lenses, make sure you buy the best quality lenses and frames money can buy.

4. Safe and Reliable Car
If you consider your own and your family’s life, it’s worth buying the safest and most reliable car money can buy. This doesn’t mean you have to buy new.

5. Holidays
We have too little and too short vacations, so don’t limit yourself too much to save a few cents. Don’t go crazy and overspent on over-expensive holidays but you deserve a good and relaxing experience. Don’t limit yourself to save a few bucks.

6. Health and Wellness
The best protection against ANY illness including viruses is a strong immune system. If you’re opting for lesser quality food to try and save money, you’re putting your health at risk and could finally cost you more in medical expenses. Spend as much as you can afford on good quality food. Spend on physiotherapy and massages to take care of your aches and pains. Or buy an air purifier.

7. Prime area Real Estate
If you’re intending to buy a new home or an investment property, make sure you buy in the most prime location possible. Remember: location, location, location! It might be more than you intended to spend but the additional investment will be worth it finally. Prime real estate holds up better in a downturn and rises faster when the market starts to climb. Think of suburbs very near to major cities, neighbourhoods close to schools (if you have kids).

8. Any item that really matters most to You
Figure out what matters most to you and spend your money freely on those few items. It’s always better to have a few quality pieces in your home versus a ton of cheap junk. It pays to spend more when you know it’s something you’ll use every day.
