How Safe Are Airports and Airplanes During an Outbreak?

Travel experts and doctors say that based on what we know now, there’s no need to avoid flying. The risk of catching any illness on a flight is generally quite low. Of course, there’s a chance of catching something any place people congregate, but less on a plane, because the air is filtered and refreshed constantly, with systems similar to what you’d find in a hospital operating room. It’s less risky than you may think, especially if you take some basic precautions.
